For 40 years Centro Presente’s Legal Immigration Services (LIS) has provided high-quality, essential legal services structured around an efficient paralegal-based model with support from pro-bono lawyers.  LIS offers a bilingual, welcoming, and safe environment to prepare immigration processes and provide consultations that are relevant to the community with which we work. Staffed by a veteran Senior Paralegal with over 20 years of experience and a dedicated team of long-term volunteers and pro bono lawyers, LIS serves around 3,000 cases a year.
